SOOO great to meet the AMAZING Robin Roberts from ABC’s Good Morning America! She’s an active speaker for charity and the author of the New York Times best selling memoir, Everybody’s Got Something.
Robin spoke on the panel with her loving sister, Sally Ann Roberts discussing Sisters In The Name of Love moderated by Soledad O’Brien . How appropriate as Ann SAVED Robin’s life by donating bone marrow earlier this year. It brings tears to my eyes because there is NOTHING I wouldn’t do for my twin sis. 🙂
“You don’t take it for granted that someone is going to put their life on hold for you,” Robin said, holding back tears. But Sally-Ann said she never would have considered not providing the bone marrow that saved her younger sister’s life.
“I was born for this,” Sally Ann said. ” I believe that before I was in my mothers womb that God knew. I believe that God allowed me to be a perfect genetic match.” – TIME Magazine
Sally Ann led the crowd in a moving song of praise and I almost lost it. LOL!
