What a fabulous evening at the 2014 ADAC Awards Gala where finalists for the 2014 Southeast Designers and Architect of the Year were announced!
“We have raised the bar with our panel of elite judges, which has increased the prestige of these awards among the industry,” said Katie Belveal, ADAC general manager. “The competition was steep with nominees from more diverse areas in the region than ever before and finalists amongst individuals and firms who are at the forefront of design. We are thrilled to recognize their talents at this year’s Gala.”
Judges were provided with anonymous portfolios of work that had been submitted by firms throughout the southeast. This year’s judging process took a new direction by introducing judges who have architecture and interior design perspectives. In addition to the continued participation of ADAC’s co-sponsor, VERANDA’s Editor in Chief Clint Smith, ADAC added two additional judges who are currently working architects and interior designers. Bobby McAlpine of McAlpine Tankersley Architecture and Timothy Corrigan of Timothy Corrigan, Inc. bringing an authentic perspective to this dynamic judging group.
The gala was held at the AMAZING 2014 Decorators’ Show House & Gardens at Palazzo Rosa and guest were able to tour the home and all of it’s glory 🙂
I had to rush off to another event but was able to capture a few pics of the home, delicious bites and guest. Enjoy and
Congrats to ALL of the winners!!
