I AM ALI (Focus World) Opens in Theaters TODAY!

Great new movie ALERT!

I AM ALI One Sheet

You must take your kids, family & friends to see the amazing documentary I AM ALI today!  Last month, I was able to attend a private screening of this Fisheye Films Production and it literally took my breath away.  Presented by Focus World, the story is told through exclusive, unprecedented access to Ali’s personal archive of ‘audio journals’ combined with touching interviews and testimonials from his inner circle of family and friends, including his daughters, son, ex-wife and brother, plus legends of the boxing community including Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Gene Kilroy.

“I am the greatest. I said that before I even knew I was.” Muhammad Ali

Of course I knew of Muhammad Ali but NEVER like this.  He was so much more than a fighter… he was spiritual, a visionary & family man and he was truly committed to his cause. As we all know, Ali was a comedian and jokester but he was also detected to his beliefs. Even to the point of losing his right to fight after refusing the war. How many of us would sacrifice our livelyhood for what we believe??

I fell in love with his idea to record phone conversations with his children as it captured precious moments that will never be forgotten.  As a photographer, it inspired me even more to preserve memories through my lens and to add more video recordings of my boys to the archives.  My mom always said… “record your babies when they laugh and when they cry so you can remember the sounds”.
I was on the edge of my seat… listening to every word, crying and laughing the ENTIRE time.  I’m telling you…. go & experience Ali’s extraordinary story, as a fighter, lover, brother, father – told from the inside for the very first time.  He was truly THE GREATEST!

P.S. I wouldn’t be surprised if the soundtrack gets a nomination with music from Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder and Ella Fitzgerald!
