“It is quite a thrill for us to have Opera Ebony perform at the Atlanta Cyclorama,” says Camille Russell Love, Executive Director of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. “As we continue our commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War’s Battle of Atlanta, we want to expand the ways in which people learn about the Civil War and make it relevant today. We’re presenting a special concert on Sunday, August 10 with the world-renowned Opera Ebony, joined by Masud Olufani in the role of Frederick Douglass.
