Atlanta Cyclorama Spotlights Poetry, Theatre And Film This September

“Our commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Atlanta continues at the Cyclorama with a spectacular September schedule,” states Camille Russell Love, Executive Director of the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs. “Come enjoy an eloquent reading by award-winning poet Natasha Tretheway, take a triumphant journey to freedom in a powerful theatrical performance, and explore the real meaning of race in an eye-opening documentary. Bring your family, friends, film or book clubs and join us for some entertaining and thoughtful programs.”

There will be a reception with the author at 6 pm co-sponsored by the Alliance Theater and the Atlanta History Center.

Reading will begin at 7 pm.
