The 11th annual A3C Festival & Conference, affectionately known as “Hip-Hop’s Annual Pilgrimage,”  will take place October 711, 2015, in Atlanta’s eclectic Old 4th Ward, along Edgewood Ave, and East Atlanta Village.  Hundreds of performers and speakers will be announced in the 3rd and final announcement in September. Pure Heat Atlanta Black Gay Pride, the country’s leading LGBTQ annual pride celebration, is gearing up for their annual celebration during the 2015 Labor Day holiday weekend.  2015 promises to be a blowout featuring a host of talent including: Monica (“The Boy Is Mine”), Chris Brown (“Yeah 3x”), Lil’ Kim (“The Jump Off”), Kelly Price (“You Should’ve Told Me), Teyana Taylor (“Google Me”), Porsha Williams (BRAVO “Real Housewives of Atlanta”) Az Marie (FOX “Empire”) and Dej Loaf (“Try Me”).

Bert’s Big Adventure

Many of Atlanta’s favorite local restaurants are joining forces to show support for a great cause. From Monday, September 14th through Saturday, September 19th, popular Atlanta eateries will be participating in the first annual Restaurant Week in support of Bert’s Big Adventure, a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.10% of all sales from participating restaurants during the week-long promotion will go towards Bert’s Big Adventure’s annual trip, as well as support for year-round initiatives such as the Reunion Adventures, the Fairy Godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services.

Bert’s Big Adventure’s Inaugural Restaurant Week will include participation from Avellino’s Pizza in Brookhaven and Decatur, Buttermilk Kitchen, YEAH! Burger in West Midtown and Virginia-Highlands, Suwannee Park Tavern in Suwa- nee, 1Kept in Buckhead and all 25 locations of Taco Mac, all 9 locations of Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, all 8 locations of Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Centers and more.
