Ok y’all… this line up of events is EXPLOSIVE!!  BACK again is the 2016 Pepsi FunkFest with performances by Snoop Dogg, TLC, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, T.Pain, Master P and more! Presented by Variety Entertainment in conjunction with media partner V-103… the event is set to hit Atlanta May 13th & 14th at a new home Central Park, located in Downtown Atlanta.

Black Women Film Network to Honor Mikki Taylor, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Naturi Naughton & More!

The Black Women Film Network (BWFN) has announced that the 2016 Black Women Film Summit will take place March 10-12, 2016 at various locations in Atlanta. This three-day event will celebrate the achievements of black women in the arts and entertainment and feature its signature “Untold Stories” Luncheon as well as the annual Black Women Film Festival (BWFF), Book Festival and panel discussions.

The Summit will open on Thursday, March 10 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM with a networking reception at Boogalou Restaurant & Lounge (239 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Atlanta GA 30308).

Then on Friday, March 11 at 11:00AM, the “Untold Stories” Luncheon will take place at the Intercontinental Buckhead (3315 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta GA 30326), where several VIPs will be honored for their career achievements and “untold” secrets to success. The luncheon also serves as a fundraiser for scholarships for students entering the film and television industries.

The summit closes on Saturday, March 12 with a full day of screenings, panels and an awards ceremony at the Dennard Center at Atlanta Technical College (1560 Metropolitan Pkwy SW, Atlanta GA 30310). For tickets and information, visit www.blackwomenfilm.org.
