Nikki Chaney, Founder of Heel My Heart Inc. is a domestic violence survivor who has been sharing this story for a while. She has been the voice for so many who keep quiet about this “darkness” going on in our communities which can ultimately lead to death. Surviving in Fashion is a benefit show that gives victims and survivors a voice. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Dekalb County Resource Center for Women. Hosting the event will be Author and Motivational Speaker Tanisha Mackin. The purple carpet will be hosted by WeTV’s LaKenya Morris of Cutting It In The ATL.
