“We are pleased to announce that we will have free Jazz Education Workshops at the Atlanta Jazz Festival to both educate and inspire attendees,”Camille states  Russell Love, Executive Director of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. “Leading the workshops will be this year’s festival artists, as well as noted jazz educators and professional musicians. This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best, so we are delighted to be able to make this available on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 in Piedmont Park.”

Jazz Education Workshops will cover a variety of topics and aim to educate the community about the history of jazz, provide tips and techniques from professional musicians, as well as to lead a discussion on the future of the genre. They will be held near the Main Stage in Piedmont Park between performances.
