This summer, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse (Buckhead) is debuting homemade booze-infused semi-frozen Granita, perfect to enjoy on a hot summer afternoon. The new take on the Sicilian classic, created by Pastry Chef Kathleen Miliotis, combines fruity flavors with perfectly paired spirits for a refreshing aperitif. Flavors include – Lemon Verbena with Limoncello, Peach Melba with Peach Schnapps, Wild Berries with Chambord and Greek Yogurt with Stoli Vanilla!

Love them all but my absolute favorite flavor is the Wild Berries with Chambord. So rich and delicious!! I had a nice chat with Pastry Chef Kathleen Miliotis who mentioned “Peach Melba” as her favorite. 🙂 Dells lemonade and Jersey Shore were inspirations for recreating her childhood memories.
