One thing I know for sure… if you don’t have passion for what you do, it just may not work. You gotta LOVE it… then it’s NOT really work after all. Tips from a female photographer 🙂
Many find it hard to understand the keys of success. Most want a “quick fix” thinking they can jump right into a career and all the magic happens. Passion & Work ethic is literally half the battle in making your dreams come true. Dedication, focus, commitment, honesty, being punctual, organized and professional are key components to success. All of these elements take A LOT of discipline… and when you don’t love what your doing the pitfalls & curveballs will soon cause you to fade away.
People look at me and say, “Oh, I want to be a photographer. You have such a fun job”. I’ve tried to work with a few aspiring artist and they soon realize its not all glitz & glamour. It’s a hustle and everybody is trying to do the same thing. What makes YOU stand out from the rest. Why are some able to withstand the grueling schedule & demands while others just simply can’t hang on? Having a photography career is NOT something you just try. It’s a life changing commitment and the payoff is doing what you love. YES, I get paid but it didn’t start out that way. Would you do it for free?? It’s a bonus for me (most of the time) 🙂 I put challenges and obstacles on my “to do” list.
Tip #1: Successful people do what others won’t do.
Tip #2: Love what you do & you will never work another day in your life.
Sending lots of hugs & kisses to my family who has supported me from the beginning. Can’t do it without YOU!
