One MusicFest has launched the ONE MusicFest app which serves as the official mobile app for getting the most out of attending ONE MusicFest 2014. The free app launches just weeks before the One MusicFest celebration kicks off on September 13th. Attendees can listen to music playlists, utilize ticket buying ability, play in the artist photo booth and browse the festival’s lineup. To celebrate the launch of the app and toast to ONE MusicFest turning five years old, join the ONE MusicFest team, developers, production, staff and more on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 7:00p – 8:30pm at the Microsoft Store in Lenox Mall.

The app can be downloaded on Droid, iTunes and Google Play. It will allow festival attendees to  individualize their ONE MusicFest experience by liking and sharing their favorite performances, subscribing to get exclusive updates and documenting their time at the festival through the app. By choosing the vote widget, purchasers can help choose the local Atlanta artist they want to see perform on the same stage as Nas and Kendrick Lamar and a host of others.

“We wanted to enhance user’s experience at the festival by alleviating the typical ticketing or scheduling questions”, said Jason Carter the curator of the OMF. The app allows users to post highlights on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There is a fanwall where they can post photos during the festival and find other fans nearby. The photobooth feature looks to be a favorite because it allows festival-goers to take pictures with their favorite artists and share them on their social media platforms.

Join ONE MusicFest For the ONE MusicFest app launch on Thursday, September 4, 2014.  Guests will also be privy to an on-site ticket giveaway every thirty minutes during this event.
