I spent the most wonderful morning celebrating with my favorite radio team The Bert Show! This event was extra special as 13 families enjoyed the best “send off” to Disney EVER! Dreams DO come true 🙂
Bert’s Big Adventure provides an all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. The send off celebration was held at the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport hotel EARLY this morning… but it was certainly worth every minute. I walked into a room filled with beautiful kids, hundreds of colorful balloons, tons of Disney characters, activities and a live broadcast of “The Bert Show”. Yay!!
Talented singer Ingrid Michaelson gave a special performance of the Berts Big Adventure theme song, “Afterlife”.
I listen to the show every morning on my way to drop off the boys and was tickled pink to see Bert Weiss, Kristin Klingshirn and Jeff Dauler in action! There were so many magical moments when each of the children were interviewed.
Take a look at little Addison who LOVES to dance. She will be performing with the ATLANTA BALLET! How awesome is that?!?!!
How CUTE is Quincy as she dances in her princess dress to Frozen’s “Let It Go” in front of the mirror. 🙂
Special thanks to The Bert Show for all you do. I’m one of your BIGGEST fans and it was a pleasure seeing you again. Sending a HUGE hug to the Premiere PR team for the invite.
My favorite pic of the day 🙂
Your “Little Give” will help make this trip possible and make dreams come true! Just $5 (or more) can make a difference in the lives of these very deserving children.
