It’s been raining ALL day here in Atlanta, but that didn’t stop our AMAZING family fun at the Bugs Bunny Boomtown opening at Six Flags Atlanta! Me and all of my boys (including hubby) got up early this morning and headed to the themed park for the official unveiling of seven new exciting rides and attractions including Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters, Looney Tunes Adventure Camp, Bugs Bunny High Seas Adventure and so much more!
The morning began with a meet & greet with Bugs Bunny and the gang!
…followed by a very special program which included adorable 7-year-old Symeon who was named the Honorary Park President For a Day at Six Flags Over Georgia. In partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation… Symeon was also presented with the Key to Six Flags. How cool is that?!?!!
“Six Flags Over Georgia is honored to have Symeon become part of the Six Flags team,” said Six Flags Atlanta Properties Park President Dale Kaetzel. “We are thrilled to offer our guests world-class attractions and also help create lifelong memories for the youngest of guests battling life-threating illnesses.”
And then it was time to cut the ribbon… Bugs Bunny & friends lined up for the honor and opened the park for all to enjoy. My boys were so excited… they couldn’t decide which ride to tackle first! Too funny…
Sending a HUGE thanks to the entire SF team for the invite and cool umbrella! We had a blast singing and riding in the rain 🙂 Six Flags Over Georgia is now open on weekends and daily April 2-10 for Spring Break. For more information visit www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia.
