Today, I had a chance to stop by Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken ribbon cutting & grand opening at the Peachtree Center in Downtown Atlanta! I was pleasantly surprised to see Atlanta’s own & comedian George Wallace in the place who also participated in the ceremony along with Mayor Kasim Reed, City Councilmen Kwanza Hall, Ceasar Mitchell and partners of BCS Restaurant Ventures, LLC.
LOL, George is too funny… I tried to snap a “selfie” and my iPhone wouldn’t work! He said, “that’s what you get with that cheap &*%@ phone”. OMG, he is hilarious!! I FINALLY got it to work and here’s my masterpiece 🙂
After the acknowledgements and ribbon cutting… guest were treated to this famous chicken I’ve been hearing about. And I must say… IT’s DELICIOUS!! It has this slight spicy kick that melts in your mouth and the chicken is fried to perfection. I brought a couple of pieces to my boys and they tackled it to the bone. LOL! Kid approved 🙂
Be sure to stop by at 231 Peachtree Street NE, Suite A-05 Atlanta GA 30303
At the corner of Peachtree Center Ave and Andrew Young International Blvd
Sending a special thanks to Larche Communications for the invite. Enjoy the pics I snapped!
