Last week, Tunecore celebrated their expansion into the Atlanta market with a successful private welcome reception and ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Councilman Kwanza Hall and Tunecore executives Phillana Williams, Scott Ackerman and Joe Cuello. This innovative organization helps artists sell their music online, keep 100% of their rights & sales revenue, & collect worldwide songwriter royalties.
The private reception and ribbon cutting ceremony included DJ sets by Mikkoh, Xavier BLK and Atlanta’s own Bryan-Michael Cox. Guests were treated to an open bar sponsored by Twenty Grand Vodka and small bites.
Special guests in attendance included: Councilman Kwanza Hall, Greg Smith of SESAC, Kawan ‘KP’ Prather (Grammy Award-winning record executive), Munson Steed of Rollingout Magazine, Rico Wade of Organized Noize, LaRonda Sutton, Devyne Stephens (music executive), Bryan-Michael Cox, Tunecore’s international artist Ayo, Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Shanti Das, Keinon Johnson of Interscope Records, Hurricane Dave of Radio One, Chris Hicks and Joseph Nixon of the City of Atlanta Office of Entertainment and Film and more.
