Sankofa Redux: 25 Years of National Black Arts Festival – RECAP

Last Thursday, I spent the most wonderful evening celebrating Sankofa Redux: 25 Years of National Black Arts Festival at the Bank of America Gallery!  I was honored to be in the midst of brilliant photographers who paved the way for aspiring artist like myself.  🙂

Over the past 25 years, photographers who have captured the memorable moments of the NBAF have given audiences the best seat in the house.  In celebration of NBAF’s 25th anniversary, photographer Susan J. Ross assembled a dynamic group of photographers to exhibit their most amazing NBAF moments. Including:  Brian L. Christian, Gudrun S Hughes, Jim Alexander and Shannon McCollum.

The night was filled with numerous friends and supporters of the NBAF, delicious bites and spirits sponsored by Bank of America.  Special thanks to the FABULOUS Photogriot for the invite!

Enjoy the pics I snapped.
