SELMA Celebrates 50th Anniversary: Countdown to Bloody Sunday March Reenactment!

Good Morning!  I’d like to share a special announcement regarding another historical moment that changed the world.  Coming March 8th… The Bridge Crossing Jubilee will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday, the Selma-to-Montgomery March, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. #selma50

This annual event commemorates this movement on March 7, 1965, when a group of over  500 African American demonstrators gathered at Browns Chapel for the right to vote.
