Atmosphere

VH-1 Family Hustle castmate/celebrity hair stylist Shekinah Jo and founder of high-end beauty brand Conceited, Inc. Shaunell Robinson joined an all-female panel of entrepreneurs to answer the question “So You Want to Be a Boss?” The panel, moderated by Deshai Cole gave the attendees access to priceless information on starting a businesses and also how to take it to the next level.

Notable panelists on the male panel included Harold House Moore, Omar Slim White, DJ Fadelf

Featured on the all-male panel was Harold “House” Moore of VH-1’s Single Ladies who gave the women the inside track to what guys really want and how to maintain healthy relationships. The spirited ladies had some challenging questions for the panelists who spoke candidly on their perspectives. Surprisingly, what they had to say didn’t reinforce the common male stereotypes. And they did it all without breaking a sweat.

Saturday night, UGF was brought to an end as guests competed on the dance floor for cash prizes and had an opportunity to sing along with TV One’s R&B Divas castmate KeKe Wyatt.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to The Center for Black Women’s Wellness, Inc. (CBWW), a nonprofit organization that provides free and low-cost services to empower Black women and their families to achieve physical, mental and economic wellness.

The Ultimate Girls Festival was produced by The Deshai Cole Brand and Houston-based EA Events.
