Many supporters came out to celebrate the official grand opening of this AMAZING boutique called Winter Wren, a brand new women’s wear boutique located in the heart of Atlanta’s Virginia Highland neighborhood. Thursday, February 6th Atlanta’s fashion set gathered to sip & shop while mingling with Winter Wren owner Winter Hodges and General Manager Carrie Cala.
Steps away at 310 Rosemont, the first Virginia Highland offering from owner Winter Hodges, also celebrated the grand opening of its brand new sister store by treating guests to Wild Heaven Craft Beers and delicious bites courtesy of Chef Shane McIntosh and Ocean Catering Company.
Throughout the night, guests were treated to refreshing Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka and lemonade cocktails and fresh sushi by Genki Noodles and Sushi while they browsed carefully curated racks of Free People pieces from the Spring 2014 collection. In addition, the boutique offered a 20% discount on a special selection of merchandise from brands like Michael Stars, BB Dakota, BCBGeneration, French Connection, Kensie, MM Couture, Greylin, Jack, Karlie, Umano, and Seven For All Mankind, as well as jewelry, shoes, and handbags from designers like Sam Edelman, Michael Kors, Rebecca Minkoff, Jessica Wren, Hobo and Ty Jewelry. A live jazz ensemble set the soundtrack for the event and Free People VIP giveaways rounded out the fashionable evening at Winter Wren.
Second Atlanta offering from Winter Hodges, veteran retailer and longtime Virginia Highland resident behind Atlanta’s beloved 310 Rosemont boutique, Winter Wren features comfortable yet sophisticated women’s wear with a curated selection of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories from posh brands like BB Dakota, Michael Stars, Hunter Boots, Kensie, Aryn K., BCBG Generation, Diane Von Furstenberg, Rebecca Minkoff and more. As one of the first boutiques in the city to embrace the shop-within-a-shop concept, Winter Wren has also teamed up with Free People to offer a large selection of clothing by the popular lifestyle brand best known for their feminine and bohemian design aesthetic. From party-wear to casually chic weekend-wear, Winter Wren is bringing new options and an alternative shopping experience to Atlanta’s fashion set.
I wasn’t able to stay very long but managed to get away with treating myself with an awesome “skull” bracelet 🙂
Sending a very special thanks to CWPR for the invite! All photos (but one) by YOURS TRULY.
